Yo las construyo y vendo en México DF son extraordinarias máquinas!

Give me back my printer and my task chair.

PS. You’re going to want vibration reducers on your arms, or to upgrade to cf arms

Ok. That is one sexy machine. Did you need to purchase non kit components to complete the assembly?

@Peter_Zsiros it’s a all in kit from SeeMeCNC. $1k USD. Great deal. Needs upgrades, but what printer doesn’t? Mine is humming away right now printing some math toys for my little girl.

vibration reducers huh? is that the rubber bands between each pair of arms I’ve seen people use? Or do you mean actual carbon fiber arms? Supposedly the arms they ship with now are much stiffer than the older version, when did you get yours @Nathan_Ryan ?

I’m going to post a mini-review of the build & kit sometime in the next couple days

I got mine just after the first batch shipped out. About a year ago. Lots of the bits have been upgraded or changed completely since then.

But yeah, the rubber bands will do it. In fact the cf arms I have have the bands on them as well. I’ve also seen on thingiverse two clips bridged with a spring, which would be another possibility.

Is a PEEK fan necessary for ABS? I plan on switching the hot end over to an E3D as soon as it arrives, but in the meantime I have to use there garbage.

I’m using e3d and it’s pretty nice. But, yeah, definitely need the peek fan. Pla and abs I would think. Bowden’s do a lot of retracts, softened filament will crumple and jam.

hmm… surveying opinions on the internet, the fan seems necessary for PLA, but not ABS. I’m going to give it a try without it

Well pla is stiffer than abs but a lower melting point, so that makes sense I suppose. I haven’t printed abs on this machine.

The hotends originally shipped without the peek fans… shrugs

just finished main calibration, doing steps per mm and then we’ll see!

so exciting!! First print is always so much fun on a new machine…

Or in my case, a recently fixed machine! :stuck_out_tongue:

yeah, and it’s looking veerrrry good. Comparable to my Mendel90s first print about a year ago

Not to mention deltas are so sexy to watch dance around. Way more entertaining than cartisean printers.
