Welcome to the family,

Welcome to the family, Grey! I’ve been wanting to do a grey one just to have it look a little more classic.

Can I ask for the stl file?

Ive tried this several times and failed…last attempt half printed like this orientation when it got unstuck from the base and a few hours later since it was overnight, i saw my printer was full with a ball of spool…like yarn…

Can I also ask for the dimensions you chose?

Wow that turned out really well!

Wow, this quantity right our of the printer? What filament?

@Chris_BostonGreekGee https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:919475

@Chris_BostonGreekGee I printed this at .8 scaling. I’ve had a fair amount of them tip over as well, but I have had a fair amount of success. I’m playing with the print orientation, rafts, and brims, to see if it’ll stick better.

@Radek_Pieniazek I used a Vortex filament that I got from ReliaBuild3D. And yes, this is right off the printer.

@Daniel_Jackman very impressive

That’s really cool! And no support material.

@Dave_Palace correct. No supports. I have a cooling fan that works really well. @Jeff_Parish made it on Thingiverse.

I might have to try it.

@Dave_Palace they are fun. I’ve had a few of them fall over because I didn’t have a wide enough brim. I’d suggest a 20 line brim or possibly a raft…and/or rotate the print 90 degrees

@Daniel_Jackman thank you

Mine? So cool

@Tyler_Balanowski glad you like it!

Nice print @Daniel_Jackman ! That Grey came out nice straight off the printer. Looks like you have calibrating your filament down with those calibration clips! Glad that part cooling fan duct is working out so well for you. :slight_smile:
