Well, a week ago I started rebuilding my Sintron,

Well, a week ago I started rebuilding my Sintron, printed new x,y and z gear and the extruder. I also fitted the NPN levelling probe that I bought about a year ago and never got round to fitting until now. I got my hands on the latest version of firmware and set about turning on bed levelling but when I turn it on (in firmware and upload) and home the printer, it home’s x and y ok but z goes up about 30mm and at the same time the y axis moves about 10mm from its stops. Can anyone help me with this please?

Heres a text file of the config_h.

You might need to set the Z_MIN_ENDSTOP_INVERTING to false
If you send a M119 command to the printer you will see if it’s triggered the endstop or not

@Owen_Smith If I disable the bed levelling function then the probe works just like a mechanical switch and homes ok, but when bed levelling is enabled, the z and y move at the same time when homing. This makes the y axis move away from the limit switch about 10mm. I have not edited the firmware before so not sure what to edit. I can post a video if it helps?

Isn’t the bed leveling supposed to do that? It needs to probe several locations, right? It looks like Marlin firmware.

@SirGeekALot not on the first home no. I should still home to the corner of the bed unless you activate the safety function then it homes to the centre of the bed. The problem is I cant test the bed levelling because it says I need to home it first, but when I home, x homes ok, y homes ok the z and x move at the same time and move away from the switches. Im sure its something simple in the config I just dont know what to change??
