Well I went online to see what 3D printers Amazon got in their inventory…found a Da Vinci 1.0. for $399.99. I was blown away. There is a problem, I do not like waiting for deliveries. So I went to MicroCenter to see what they had. They too have the same printer but at the price of $499. I talked to the manager and asked him if they do price-match and I am happy to say YES!!! So i was able to walk out from MC with a great printer $100 dollars off and a big freakin smile. Love that store.
It’s not a great printer by itself. It’s a great printer to hack.

There is a reason it is so cheap. Proprietary filament cartridges. Yes we can break it and hack it to accept non-davinci filament but why? If you enjoy paying $35 for 2oz of inkjet printer ink then you will be happy ushering in a new era of consumer abuse. F 3d systems too!
Hopefully you won’t need to replace it due to common failures.
Definitely hack the spool cartridge so you’re not paying $45/kg for ABS

Put in a half full cartridge and by pass it with another brand of ABS.
