Well polymaker doesnt recommend using polysupport with abs and some people say it doesnt work. Bullsht.
You rebel jedi spirit shined through…
What property makes it not supposed to work well with ABS? Their site and documentation say nothing about using this ABS or not.
@Jeff_DeMaagd in the infosheet it says “we do not recommend using polysupport with abs”
Huh. I did a Ctrl-F for “ABS” on all the documents and pages I could find on PolySupport and didn’t find any hits. So it looks like they baked that text in as graphics. I wonder what their problem is.
They also don’t say why.
@Jeff_DeMaagd so do I. Maybe cause of the heatbed temperature maybe. But doesnt do anything either lol
Have you tried HIPS as a support material? It can snap away from ABS pretty easily. I had even gotten to the point where I can snap out support as an entire block. And it’s more reasonably priced too.
@Jeff_DeMaagd
Yes thats true the price of hips is better. Ive printed some parts with it but its not that ok for me ;D Polysupport is rather awesome
Just make the interfacelayers of it and youll save money
