Well, the Helix printer got funded. I am genuinely surprised and also a bit saddened. Hype is still king in the land of 3D printers.

I am sad for whoever just bought a basic reprap for $5500.

They claim to have invested over $70,000 in the development… How?

I think it’s a little more than basic but it sure is pricey. I think I’m going to do some comparison prints with the ingentis.

@Matt_Kraemer1 , I really hope they keep their promises. You know what they say about good intentions, and Kickstarter is chock full of good intentions, lol

Although I must admit, they’ve been through alpha and on their second beta run. Gives me more confidence in them
