Red high temp RTV from the auto parts store will take the heat. I use it for a strain relief on my thermistor wires.
Strange, I’ve not had this issue at all, must have run about 150-200 hours with them on and they’ve been fine. I don’t know if this makes any difference but I did install them with the block hot as I needed to scrape all the carbon off first. They’ve improved my print quality from really good to excellent. I mainly print PETG (90-90% is PETG) and not had any issues at all. I will say that they do seem a bit loose, but they’ve not caused any adverse effect on prints.

Mhh ok thats even more than I use. Had the two of the chimera on. Ill try the spare ones Ive bought. Other than that ill need to wire them on…
@Lukas_Mathis - aye, I see where you are coming from. I have 2 with socks on and 3 without, the 2 with are my main 2 printers. I did just double check them and they are a little loose, but they are holding on.
