We’ve been away for a while but we’re back. At the #TCTShow we had a very interesting discussion with a manufacturer of additive polymers in the medical industry and a 3D printer manufacturer. What we both hadn’t realised is that in PLA shrinkage is different depending on the colour of filament due to crystallisation that occurs at different temperatures with different pigments . The printer itself incidentally is the Threedy and I must say some of the prints coming off the machine were quite marvellous.
