What .08mm layers look like in natural PLA off the LulzBot TAZ 3. Pretty damn impressed. Model was sliced and support generated in Simplify3D

How easily did the support come off? I always have trouble pulling PLA support off my prints…
this was a print for a customer/friend. I told him he can break his own pretty stuff so I let him deal with it. But the ther supports I’ve done in PLA with Simplify3D the come with off with no issue. Its amazing.
@Joe_Spanier its almost magic. I wonder if its the geometry of the support. Or if there is some extrusion trickery going on behind the scenes that makes the bond so weak that it just breaks off. I guess some analysis on the gcode could tell us.
I put 2 layers between the interface. On really thin layers they Just barely catch. Its amazing.
