@Mark_Wheadon thanx lol
@Cristian_Martinez Yes, they do.
Is that what you have?
The sock is definitely worth it. Just need something to make sure it stays on.
Zip tie? Lol
@Stephanie_A now there’s is a niche market. High temperature garters for 3D printer socks
Something to hold waste plastic is always nice.
If you print ABS then I would suggest acetone, an empty spaghetti sauce jar with lid and extra hold hair spray (for spraying on the glass for printing). With scrap ABS and a little acetone in the jar, you can melt it down some and use it to seal cracks and delamination in prints.
Ohhhh…and I agree that you will need patience. It is not an exact science.
You can always check out @Thomas_Sanladerer ’s youtube channel. He has a number of tips and tricks that you may find useful.
Various sites to get STL and other format of files to print. I use Thingiverse which is often called take-a-verse.
You could research what improvements others have made to their printers of the type you are getting.
@NathanielStenzel thanx for the info man
for PLA i have a modified paper shredder so i can recycle them mixed in with PLA pellets on an extruder. But the ABS i would definitely like to use for sealing cracks much better. I had never thought about that.
@Cristian_Martinez you will have a filament extruder? I never got around to making or buying one. I hope it works out well for you.
Yeah few months after the printer im getting one lol
wait do i get just the socks or the socks and block? and what size do i need for the MK2S ?
