What are peoples thoughts on stepper motor gaskets? I stumbled across them when looking at other items to buy i have done a bit of research and there seems to be two types a rubber based one and a cork based one.

Rubber

Cork

I know that the cork ones help, but honestly there is still resonance because the screw is still mounted to the frame making a rigid connection. I say best choice is to actually use trinamic drivers instead of damping.

I heard the cork ones don’t really do much. I’ve done pretty well with the Astrosyn style dampers. Different drivers might help. If your board has TI DRV8825 chips, there’s a diode kit you can use to fix those up a bit. Enclosures help too. 0.9° motors helped me, but beware that it reduces your top speed.

Astrosyn dampers work really well. Cork barely does anything.

Ended up purchasing Astronsyn style dampers  thanks for help guy’s

If you are looking for dampers don’t pay attention to the cork ones. They are cheap but they don’t solve the problem. Best dampers are based in TPU.
