Somebody I know on G+ made a DIY of this at least a year ago. Can’t remember who but I’ll try to find it. There was an article on it.

Oh hey same guys what… The version above looks so much sleeker, I thought it was entirely new.

edit: Damn $2500 for some decent servos and a microcontroller? BRB undercutting them.

Nice to have a safe method of creating with metal (no melting temperatures), but it seems like it would have a lot of design limitations compared to 3D printing.
