What could cause over extrusion on certain areas of a print? I printed some items the other day and noticed that the right side looked good, but the left side showed some over extrusion. I also tried different filament on the same model and it showed the same problem. This mainly happens on prints when there is an overhang.
It could be the fan (if you’re using one) direction/power. I’ve had this before.
I have a DiVinci 1.0A and I spent this past weekend leveling the bed and that didn’t seem to help much. I will check into the fan. Some people have changed the angle for the fan that helps with PLA. Not sure if it will help with the ABS, but willing to give it a try.
Had such a issue, the back looked good, the front terrible. Turned out it was because I only had a fan on the back. Now have around the same air flow on both sides and everything works nicely.
