What do you guys recommend to clean the hot-end tip after a few smudged print ? Printing with PLA only if it makes a difference.

I use a wet paper towel, leave the hot end hot and wipe. Just don’t stay in one spot for too long and you should be good.

I use a brass toothbrush that I picked up at an auto parts store.

I scrape off the pla when the nozzle is hot. Allow it to cool and use acetone to clean it. And polish using a foam nail file block.
