What happens when you leave your husband home alone with a 3D printer and a box of sprinkles…

Now all you need is an editing software…

Statuette ?

@Cooli_James I don’t understand the question…

A stop motion sequence could be the next part of this project.

My wife thought I took the pictures, saying it is something I would do! I am not alone!

YES. MAKE MORE + SELL = MAKE MONEY

@phenox_spartan happy to sell it. I just need buyers.

@Daniel_Jackman Look no further, just go to a star Wars convention, or ANY convention at that.

@phenox_spartan good point! Maybe I should get a bunch made and go to a Comic Con or something.

@Daniel_Jackman Go! Make your money, my son!! :joy::joy: OK, maybe not that last part, but make money anyway!

@phenox_spartan hey, I’m happy just to be able to cover the costs of the hobby. If t becomes a money maker, all the better. I’ll have to buy more printers.

@Daniel_Jackman Indeed. People in the engineering career say that printers are THE future of manufacturing. So I would do so too… if I only had money.

@phenox_spartan I am actually in a Manufacturing engineering field and trying to find a new job. Hopefully I can find an employer that wants to capitalize on my printing capabilities. It’s always been fascinating to me to make something out of almost nothing.

@Daniel_Jackman I’m in college for mechanical engineering and we use 3D printing for parts a lot.

but always remember: if you want to make profit of it, you need a license from Disney.

@Reinhard_Barmonster I more sell my 3D printing services, rather than print things to sell. It’s usually up to the person that wants the print, which is freely available online. I leave it up to the person commissioning the print to look up what they want on Thingiverse. I don’t think that violates Disney’s copyright, but I could be wrong.

@Daniel_Jackman it’s rather simple: if the customer comes to you with a model and pays you to print it, then it’s his responsibility to make sure he has the right to do so.
In any other case it’s your responsibility.

@Reinhard_Barmonster that’s exactly what I thought, and how I’m proceeding.

@Daniel_Jackman but you wrote “Maybe I should get a bunch made and go to a Comic Con or something.” and THAT would totally be a copyright infringement.
