what is a recommend-able slicer & setting tool you use?
i use mattercontrol but i kinda heard that it’s not so delicate…

I use octoprint on an oldish laptop and Slic3r to interface it via the API. It gives the smoothest printing workflow I have encountered.

Pronterface is great when setting up the printer.

We mostly use Slic3r, occasionally Cura. Tried KISSlicer, don’t care for it. We prefer Pronterface for printer control, it has more versatility that the printer control portion of Cura.
