What is the recomended infill and perimeters for the tires to the formula 1? I have tried several settings now and it´s possible to get both soft and hard tires. I will try both.
PETG material?
I printed my tires with PLA soft, 3 perims and no infill. They work pretty good beside that PLA doesn’t produce alot of friction.
@Klaus_Daume , what slicer do you use?
Do you set different speed for inner and outer shells?
Thank you
Give them a few coats of plastidip spray, that oughta help with the grip.
@Ivan_Hoe TPU/Flex simular to ninjaflex
@Ivan_Hoe I´m using Simplify 3D. Basic speed 30mm/s Then i have different % of that depend if it´s top, bottom, infill or perimeter.
Thank you @Peter_Tibemo : )
@Ivan_Hoe I used CraftWare and Cura since slic3r may run into trouble with inwards faced overhangs and without infill. Craftware and Cura do some zigzag movement instead to guarantee a vertical thickness which helps alot in this case.
Thank you @Klaus_Daume for sharing.
I’m using 10% infill and extra shell layers using NinjaFlex. Working out fine so far,
