What is your high score for a successful print?
39 hours for me. 43+ is a long time! So much can go wrong in that timeframe.
Let us know how that turns out
CRAP! You have me beat by a work week, well my lazy work week. Let’s see…in 42 hours.
so what was it?
Mines only 8 hrs…but I’m building up to where I’m confident that I’m unlikely to have a niggles or failures and ruin a long print.
My record is 173.2 hours, ran the printer on a UPS just in case of power issues, but luckily all worked well. LCD is currently dead, but I just got a raspberry pi, so I’ll be trying it again with octoprint timelapse mode
53 hours… couldn’t have come close without getting the printer on its own mains circuit and using Oct print.
73 hours on the Printrbot Go Large and I gave up after realizing I sliced it wrong and the scale was off.
;(
35 hours i think. Took longer due to posing at each layer for a picture.
That’s very impressive! I’ve gone 28 hrs and after about 15 one really starts to sweat bullets with thoughts of ALL of that filament that could end up in the recycling bin! I use the APC BE550G Back-UPS which is $60 on Amazon and I have all of my printers sitting on these little battery backup units. Our little maker-grade consumer electronics can be very sensitive to spurious noise, etc so signal conditioning is like an insurance policy. And then there is filament…
