What kind of project box / enclosure is everyone uses?

What kind of project box / enclosure is everyone uses? I’m looking for off the shelf versus 3d printing one, or building it from pcb.

My ideal case would have a battery compartment for three AA batteries or one/two 18650 cells… my search continues.
