What kinda of battery do i need to go portable on this pacman clock?

What kinda of battery do i need to go portable on this pacman clock? i blew out my clock using a 5v/12v portable battery

The right one.
Without any further information on the V/A needs of this “clock” i can’t be more specific.

What kind of LEDs are they? What do you mean when you say you blew it out? What’s driving it?

Think those are dot matrix leds, more pics please, and lets see your old power supply, and what voltage does it drive? stands on the back?
we wil get it running again, ( only if the driver and leds stil are oke)

You only need a 5volt dc input.
The ac adapter was only an 230v AC to DC so every USB phone charger or usb powerbank can set this puppy on. But the amps must be higher then 1A this led can draw 2A Max, but thats when ALL leds are on. Try just a siimple 5 v battery phone charger. Or even your 230v USB phone plug, is also v.

En yeah, logic that it blew up dude, you put 12V on it. Thats probebly a selectable 5V to 12V output adapter. OEPSY!!! So try first your phone charger, thats 5V http://dc.on the usb site. Oke?

BUT FIRST CHECK IT WITH YOUR PHONE CHARGER!!! ( CUT AN USB, AND ONLY USE THE BLACK AND RED TO PUT IT ON VCC AND GROUND.)IF ITS WORKING, otherwise you need to hopefuly change the fuse. but i think its a automatic fuse, and it wil just work fine. BUT FIRST TEST IT. DID YOU???
