What new printers are on the horizon that you’re excited about?

Anything that’s making you lie awake at night thinking “wow, this is going to be great!”?

I was so excited only when I built my own printer. It works well now BTW.

Full color FDM is possible right now. The guy just needs help getting it finished and off the ground.

I am also excited about my own printer. Can’t await till it’s done. And last weekend I have seen a nice tiny SLA printer at the makerfaire in berlin. It is called ono. But I couldn’t buy one because they first ship to the kickstarter backers and makers. I wanted to preorder one unit but before it arrives in Germany it costs about 300€ instead of 99€.

@Daniel_Stauffer ; if it’s the one with the active mixer (Arcus 3D?) then yes. It wasn’t just CMYK; it was CMYKW)

A little over the horizon at the moment. I can hardly wait for advances in Laser activated vapor deposition for 3D printing beyond the nano scale. :slight_smile:

@ThantiK I think he was at NYC Maker Faire last year and he talked about integrating transparent filament as well. His printer was cartesian though

I had to investigate a bit but I don’t think we are talking of the same people @ThantiK ​. Couldn’t find the report, so I will try to describe:

The guys I mean print cmykw with abs and had a report where they printed coke and Sprite cans. Anyway damn great technique.
