What would be the easiest way to have a color wipe across the strip of leds, then wipe across the leds again, blanking them
The easiest way is to ask someone to do it for you !!
Seriously, just go through the example sketches that came with the Arduino IDE and with the FastLED library itself.
If you work just a little bit harder at it, you will get answers to all those surprisingly easy questions. As a bonus, you will get a much more solid understanding of programming and of driving addressable RGB LEDs.
Working on going through them, i guess im just impatient
I’m with JP. Absolutely no offense intended: you should know how ‘for loops’ work, how to set an LED to a color, and how to use delay. That’s all that’s required except to write the code.
I understand, and I actually just found how to do it. Wasnt trying to get someone to write it for me, just got a little aggravated and impatient i guess that it was not working like i though it should, and forgot that the library comes with examples.
I am pleased that you found how to do it by yourself and that you realised you were a bit impatient and quick to ask for support.
Please believe me that I also only meant to help you with that comment.
