What would make my kossel printer stay about the print bed when I give the gcode G29? It was working fine then all of a sudden I got to hit print and when it runs the auto level code it stays above the bed I think it say 50mm and runs through the position, then back down to (0,0,5), but then when it heats up it goes and grinds down the bed and off of it?
What type of probe are u using for ur g29 command. Is ur z min triggering correctly?
It looks like the normal style, where the extruder is pressed into the bed until it hits a limit switch and the switch tested through a multi meter seems to be operating properly.
If it’s triggering above the bed then the limit switch might not be triggering. Check with a M119 and see what end stops are triggered.
It’s not triggering it is just not touching the bed at all
Yeah I can’t figure it out, I guess I’ll just skip the feature…I leveled the bed before I even started trying the auto leveling feature. Thanks anyways @Amit_Patel
