What’s the best Prusa kit to buy? Post links please.

Been thinking about one as my next printer and 3D Hubs has the Prusa Steel as the top printer this month. Right now I’m looking at this one by BEEVERYCREETIVE: https://beeverycreative.com/hellobeeprusa-3d-printer/

A very good one I got is from Joseph Prusa (the creator of the prusa design). It’s really high quality and not that expensive.

Got myself the wilson ts. The instruction I got is definitely not as elaborate as beecreative or hephestos… I would definately avoid any acrylic or mdf and go with all steel

Hephestos and BQ were some of the others I was looking into

prusa i3 Hephestos (BQ). May it be?

Note: I’m not an employee of BQ. I think it is a good product.

So you put a heavy printer in the back of your jeep and not fastened. And then you drove off aggressively and brake violently to a meeting to show said printer? CoreXY is a very good printer design but your story is either BS or you are just proud to be clumsy

I really like my Wilson TS. That being said, it does come with some issues. The linked steel frame kit looks interesting and could be quite nice. Just one word of warning, Don’t trap your threaded rods at the top as is shown in the picture. This caused all manner of problems for me.

Bought a hephestos from bq about 6 months back. Had to add a heated bed myself. Other than that i have only good things to say about it. Still going strong.

@Brigham_Valdez I was considering CoreXY but I couldn’t find a kit and I’m not sure I’m ready to build from scratch just yet.

How about this one? http://store.quintessentialuniversalbuildingdevice.com/product.php?id_product=145

@Brigham_Valdez I’m not necessarily ready to buy at this moment. I’m considering buying another sub $1,000 printer in the next 6 months to 1 year.

@Nathan_Walkner it does like very nice. And very considerably priced as well.

I agree lead screw is more sturdy than threaded rod. Wanhao i3 does looks promising. Do they use e3d hotend?

@Step_Cia It does not appear that way.

@Brigham_Valdez Sounds good. Post to this community when its up please.
