Whats the difference between using the matte side and the shiny side of a PEI sheet?

the shiny side is always slippery!

Does that mean it wont hold the prints as well as the matte side?

yes!

I’ve not seen a big difference but the shine doesn’t last long unless you’re very careful.

Seen very little to no difference in adhesion between the two. I like the matte side better because it hides scratched in the surface. If you have the shiny side up every little imperfection wil be shown on the bottom of your print.

Im buying 2 from Prusa anyways. I think theyre already matte side up
