Where do I find PTFE + pneumatic press fit fittings? Grainger has the fittings, but wants me to buy 10 of them for $40…(Which I could do, then ship out to interested parties…if there were interest) I’m just tired of $40 purchases where $36 of it doesn’t end up getting used.
Ebay

Obviously do some hunting around first…make sure the specs are correct.
Yeah, I bit the bullet and threw another $50 at McMasterCarr…picked up some Kapton tape and some other stuff while I was at it.
Ouch, don’t know why you would do that. Same fittings cost 1/4 of that on ebay. :[
Next time buy from eBay and send me the extra $$$. XD
You’d think that, but it’s a false economy…The $50 included Kapton tape (expensive), two big rolls of Blue Tape (also really expensive), 25 feet of PTFE line (surprisingly not as expensive), in addition to the fittings. Sure the fittings and line can be had cheaper on ebay, but then I’ve got three extra fittings, and I still haven’t acquired the other things.
Could I save $10-$15 sourceing them all seperately on ebay? Probably…is it worth $15 of my time to do so? (Assuming 100% success and reasonably rapid delivery from China)
