Which water soluble filament is best?

Which water soluble filament is best? This will be the first time I have ever tried this type. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I’ve been told E3D scaffold is pretty nice stuff. All PVA’s are pretty hydroscopic tho so you really want a dry box for it.

@Griffin_Paquette good the know. Dry box added to build list. I also noticed that you don’t need to heat it. That is interesting.

Not following the no heating?

@Griffin_Paquette One listing for pva said no heating. As in you can cold extrude it from the hotend.

Think it meant no heated bed. It definitely needs temps over 200C to print…

@Griffin_Paquette well that makes more sense. Glad you said something. Thanks.

Hahah no worries! It’s all good. Go check out @Thomas_Sanladerer 's YouTube vid on dry boxes

If you want just an easier support removal, E3d just came out with E3D SNAP. It isn’t water soluble, but it is SUPER brittle. Seems like a good option cause it is basically half the price of Scaffold. I can’t say I know much else about it though. It is really new. http://e3d-online.com/MatX-Scaffold-Snap
