Who has printed in t-glase?

I had very high expectations after a while of using bridge and 645 and I’ve gotta say so far I’m disappointed. Printing at 230C resulted in extreme extruder backpressure unless I printed below 20mm/s. Increasing the temp 5C at a time it wasn’t until 260C that it flowed well.

At all the aforementioned temps it tended to stick to the nozzle heaps (e3d V6) it seems the flat tip of the e3d made things even worse. When it stuck it tended to grow a large ball on the tip which eventually got desposited somewhere on the print. Sometimes the ball tore a hole in thin walls.

On the plus side bed adhesion to kapton and kapton with glue stick is amazing. Bridging is pretty good. Interlayer bonding is also great. Parts break across the layers before they break along the layers.

Slow and hot, just like nylon. It’s quite viscous. We’ve gotten some excellent builds with it - look at some of the pictures of T-Glaze objects in our store.
