Who is a good supplier of PLA filament?

Who is a good supplier of PLA filament?

Looking for a translucent blue PLA filament. 2.2lb 1kg.

Anybody like matterhackers or hatchbox?

I use mainly http://Fillamentum.com (their distributors) for PLA.

I like hatchbox

Nice price and been pretty good to me and my machines

If you want translucent, have you considered petg?

Thanks everyone. @J_Nerf have you got a good supplier of petg? I am interested in giving it a shot. How does it compare? Do I need a heated bed? What temperature is best?

http://Matterhackers.com… Got pretty much everything

Your question fails to contain details such as what continent/country you are in, what guaranteed tolerances you want, if you are willing to accept dust or prefer dust free, double shrink wrapped spools, if you need a supplier that does 2.85mm or smaller diameters, if you prefer spooled or unspooled and what size you prefer.

@Marcus_Wolschon as most suppliers have many options, the level of detail you request is redundant. But to answer anyway, USA 1.75mm dust free spooled.

@Alex_Hayden
Most but not all. Some only havew 1.75mm or are cheap but don’t spool. It all depends on your requirements and your metric for meassuring “good”.

I could just as well ask “What is a good car?” And anything from a heavy truck to a snowmobile could be considered “good”.

@Alex_Hayden as mentioned, esun has worked for me. Microcenter sells some generic that seems OK. Madesolid pet+ had also worked well for me, although it’s a little pricier.

I paid 25 for my esun 1kg in the US. Free 2day shipping via Amazon.

Petg

I just bought a roll of Digistruct PLA on Amazon and it seems to be doing very well and at decent good price.
