Solid top layer and solid bottom layer
Ah, probably a slicer profile bug. it seems to dislike changing certain settings sometimes. You can Hack the config file directly with a text editor to fix this. It’s pretty easy to find, should be somewhere in your repetier folder.
Alright i am gunna check this out. Thanks
No luck with that. I opened every file and was not able to find any to reconfig.
Scratch that last one. i found it in a different location. Same file as the exported G code is
@Tim_Rastall For what ever reason i still am not able to change the top or bottom layer count. I changer it the conf file but it always reverts back to 2 when i go to save. Any more suggestions?
I just went through this mess today. I changed it to 5 and saved then I could changed to 3. It seems to be connected to numbers with the up down arrows. Some times the configuration dialog just does not see the changes as witnessed by the configuration pop up name not changed to “(modified)”.
Probably time to re-install slic3r. OR Try another slicer altogether - Kisslicer is what I use now after too many frustrations with Slic3r.
@Alan_McNeil That is the answer to changing the numbers, it works.
Glad it worked but so annoying! I wish they would fix it.
Knowing is most of the battle, it is a small workaround.
