Why would I see a return on my machine information that says:
echo: filament settings disabled

How do I fix that?

Also, I’d like to disable EEPROM until I get my settings correct. I still haven’t gotten my extruder to move.

I believe that’s for volumetric filament settings. Instead of filament diameter being set it the slicer, it’s set in the firmware. The slicer must then be set to send volume instead of length. http://marlinfw.org/docs/gcode/M200.html
