wild stab here : is there anyone here in Sydney - close to city, who has a (pref. reprap) 3d printer that they can demo to me, or even that I could print off a test print?
I’m keen on getting a reprap, and seen all the printed parts available, though at this moment, have no (justifyable) space for it
I’m sure Sydney has at least one hackerspace. Go to their open-night, they will be glad to show your their printers and how they work.

@Matt_DiziMatt_Dilley visit http://www.robodino.org for more info, it is in Gladesville and you can ask questions on the Google groups mailing list. Many of the members own a 3D printer, there are two at the space. Though most of us have not seen a working reprap 
there is a half complete one at the space though.
If I had brought mine with me to Bryon bay, (to much of a hassle to bring it, plus the wife says I need a Vatican from tech) I’d demo it for Ya.
