So, one of the things I didn’t mention (and why I’m really moving on the ingentis project) Is after another frustrating night of failed prints, I broke one of the points the rods connect to. Shut everything down and walked away. I was done. I’d had enough.

A nights’ consideration showed I could ziptie the rod back in place and I gave the printer an ultimatum: Print the replacement part, or else!

Damned if it didn’t oull through. It’s not pretty, it’s not perfect, but it’s Good Enough.

I didn’t see any lube on those ABS gears. Lube em and keep em ’

The nylon set are pretty much self lubing though.
