Work in progress: parameter and data visualisation.

Work in progress: parameter and data visualisation. It´s a pity that the I2C data transfer to the OLED is limited to 400 kbit/s. I get 31 fps out of it when doing nothing else like for example pushing led data. So no (fast) scrolling charts and for sure no temporal dithering on the monochrome display. In the video I run it @10 fps.

A bit of visualisation is always nice. That’s cool.

@Stefan_Petrick Is your frame rate issue related to the library you’re using for the oLED? Would SPI be faster?

It is only about the I2C interface which is by far the slowest possibility to drive the SSD1306. Another guy was happy to get 25 fps out of it - so my 31 fps are not so bad. 3/4 wire serial or even parallel driving would be far better. Unfortunately it’s beyond my soldering skills to access these pins. There are 30 of them within 22 millimeters… Oh, and the pinout is not documented, too. It looks like this one: http://images.google.de/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&source=imgres&cd=36&ved=0ahUKEwjjquXcqIPKAhXGlA8KHVDJAA44IxDmEwgFMAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fforum.arduino.cc%2Findex.php%3Faction%3Ddlattach%3Btopic%3D252366.0%3Battach%3D87634&usg=AFQjCNFWygD8q_lh6Z9Z1kFxuN56jfITfA&sig2=wdziFcJxAbbjYXPPSOBIfg

Oh wow, that is tight. I couldn’t solder that.
