Work in progress. - Thanks to the tipp of @Jez_Weston , I now have a setup with a 11.1V / 3Ah battery and a 8A UBEC regulator, that draws 3A @11.1V at full white (setBrightness(64)) with 488 WS2811 LEDs. And at this brightness it is blinding :smiley:
In normal use I will set it to setBrightness(32) with mostly dark effects, so I expect a battery life of 4-6hours off one battery.
Now for some endurance tests under normal settings to test my theory…
