Don’t make it too thin.
That would massively reduce the air-flow and cause it to clog up easily.
I have to mill two more frames. The final strength is 24mm. The space for the airflow is 20mm. I can add another piece for more room - but I don’t want to loose too much Z-height.
That part is at the height of your collet.
So you cannot possible loose any Z-height.
Below that level you should have brushes at most.
hmmm - you are right! Maybe it is really better to make it higher for more airflow and Z-height is not the problem. Thanks! The dustshoe I use at the moment (wood) is functional but not nice - it is just too big.
