Would anyone be interested in trading printers at MRRF?
I have an old Rostock Max printer with some modifications and spare parts. It needs a little bit of work to reassemble the hotend and it needs a thermistor. I was having trouble lately getting the hotend to heat after trying to adjust it into a Y split feed system and I do not know if that problem is firmware or wiring or a failed chip. It did work fine with an oddity of needing to set both hotend temperatures but then it stopped working and I thought it was a wiring problem.
I am interested in a box style printer that has or could be adjusted to have an enclosure. Any spare parts for it would be appreciated and it is fine if it needs a little work to get going (considering mine needs something sorted out to make it work). It just needs to have a straight frame, the ability to use 3rd party filament and the ability to use STL files.
