This is very old (over a year 1/2?) I remember watching it. Still no software links or anything yet.

a single picture can’t be enough to output a 3d model unless you provide the info to make it 3d
they surely wanted to sell a shit start-up billion(s) $

wonder why they did not develop it for public use?

Maybe they didn’t raise funding to make it commercial? Assuming it’s real. Maybe it needs more time? An academic proof of concept can be a long way from something that’s ready for prime time.

You would think a company like Adobe or any other big 3D software houses would just fund it.

with a single “binocuar picture” you can have a 3d model assuming the not visible side is as predicted
here is predicted x.y.z without a proper decoding of light, used materials …

Been following this for 3 years. The project looks like it was dropped but it was by a Chinese group so there isn’t much documentation.
