Yesterday, I started with my next printer. It will be a coreXY with a build-volume of at least 300x300x300mm and will be able to print with multiple Hotends. It is designed to require little to no maintenance, with easy-to-use belt tensioners, lubricant-free rails, self-adjusting carriages and much more.

Startschuss zu “Skimmy V3”

Seems very nice but I see allot of expensive profiles and bearings.

Actually, the profiles are the cheaper parts on my BOM  It’s the rails that are going to be whoohooo-better-be-worth-it

At that point you may want to design it in welded sheet metal it may be comparable in price if you know how to source it. You would have to coat it.

Naaah, I want it to look better, @Francis_Courchesne . It will get semi-transparent case-plates, which can be illuminated in all possible colors. Like some glowing cubes at rondom fancy nightclubs
