Z axis will not home

I am using octoprint to control the printer. I have the z axis wired in parallel to a single driver. I can manually move the extruder up and down, but when I hit the home button, the extruder moves up a few millimeters. Thank you for any help you can provide

Check the endstop with M119, it’s probably connected wrong, or inverted.
