Zip-ties aren’t the best looking solution, but it’ll do well. I have cable chain waiting for assembling. Here is link for renders of the design: https://plus.google.com/+TopiasKorpiTK/posts/G7tRSyr7juN

Yesterday I designed and printed a fan mount, which also works as cable tubing mount. I think it is a lot cleaner now!
I inserted two magnets to holder and glued two screws to fan so it can be released when is needed to turn extruder gear(priming hot end, changin filament etc.)
You can also see zip-tie holding water hoses. I designed zip-tie-channels for water hoses and cable tube. Support material for cable tube channel was so jammed I couldn’t remove it. Luckily the hole for tube was tight enough to hold the tubing without zip-tie!
Next thing is to design a nozzle for fan and start to clean rest of the wiring.
Zip ties can sometimes be a bit rigid. I’m a big fan of velcro straps but I’ve not used them on a printer yet.
Great design man. I much prefer the “cable sock” as you call them. But I like the split kind as it’s easier to add and remove wires as needed: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0008IV3XC?keywords=cable%20wrapo&qid=1444757016&ref_=sr_1_sc_1&sr=8-1-spell
@Mike_Kelly_Mike_Make Thanks! Here is link to renders of the design: https://plus.google.com/+TopiasKorpiTK/posts/G7tRSyr7juN
I really like designing parts for 3D-printing, when you can round every corner etc! And I remember when you said I sould do something to hoses hanging around, is this ok?
I must order that cable sock what you linked. As I mentioned, I have cable chain waiting for full enclosure but I’m working alone with this so this solution is best for now.
Nice looking renders. I definitely like what you did with the hoses. Much cleaner
If you run the PTFE filament guide through the cable chain be sure it has a very gradual bend radius. It should be OK since it’s not a bowden feed, but too much bend can cause it to bind
@Mike_Kelly_Mike_Make Thanks a lot!
That is a one concern which I have thought in cable chain design.
I need to really try cable chain design since there isn’t any shortcuts to try cable/tube managment in this situation. I’m really worried about how cable chain is hitting to alu-profiles and bending to needed radius. That is something what you really need to test instead of design…
@Topias_Korpi that cable sock stuff looks good
What you’re calling cable sock (I kinda like that name!) is generally PET sleeving. You can buy a 500ft roll very cheap on Amazon at different diameters. It’s awesome stuff!
