Got my first printer (Rapide Lite 200) today.

Got my first printer (Rapide Lite 200) today. Post assembly, able to connect it with UBUNTU MatterControl. Able to set extruder temperature to 190C and try to push Grey PLA thru the extruder and it is not coming out as shown in some video. Try to increase the temperature to 210C also. Same result. Try to print something. Head moves as if it prints, but PLA is not coming out from he nozzle. Any help?

Is the extruder making any sort of clicking noise?

no

Is the end hot to the touch?

Yes. Reading in Mattercontrol is also around 190 or 210 (according to what I set)…

You try manually feeding?

I tried to push the filament manually thru the nozzle. Approx 2inch filament gets in and no further movement

I think, filament is 1.75mm one… If that is of any use

Post some pics that’d help

Posted some new photos.

What’s that grey stuff? Looks to me the filament will jam. Having ptfe tube going into it would help guide the filament

Take off your nozzle and make sure no debris is causing it.

And what’s cooling the heatsink?

Hi. I cut the filament and then try to manual feed it. It solved. Now print is not proper.

Ah you got direct drive? Where the filament feeds run ptfe tube if you can. Then make sure your heatsink has proper cooling. Also check your tension. Heat can be creeping up.

While printing, first layer is not holding in the plate. It is getting attached to the nozzle. Bed temperatur is 56c

Heat bed to 60-80c make sure you have your nozzle height correct. Also make sure you have good bed adhesion. Glass bed with hairspray on top heated to 60c works for me.

You can try glue sticks but they are messy. I use aquanet super hold hairspray

Will try tomorrow. Actually agin got into first problem offilament not flowing thru. Need to try tomorrow evening… Got bit success with printing by setting Z axiz offset to -1. But, after few layer, it again got into issue of sticking with extruder. Printing stopped for few sec and started. While print was stopped, filament was still coming out and it created the problem I think. I removed the filament and again tried to inser it back and got into first reported issue… Long way to go…

That’s printer “ooze” what’s cooling the heatsink?
