Guys my print bed issues are getting worse. Salt water didnt help any. When it first draws the outline it doesnt stick it just drags along with it then lays it on the actual print and then it rips off the print after the 3rd layer
What filament and print temp, bed temp?
PLA that came with the MK2S and default temperatures for PLA
Its been printing fine until now
Check or re-calibrate the bed height again? Does it stick if you start the print in a different spot on the bed?
No. And its specially bad in the back corners. Calibration comes out fine
Ok, so it does not seem to be a localized surface wear issue.
Might be you need to tighten up the calibration distance? Is there something that has come loose on the printer that is allowing movement of the head? If you put a piece of paper between the bed and the nozzle can you feel it drag on the nozzle tip when you pull on the paper? Is it the same resistance across the primary level points of the bed especially at the back corners?
Try to make the top part of the probe the same level with plastic part as in picture.
Also try rub isopropyl alcohol the whole surface to make sure it’s clean of any grease or oil.

I clean every few prints with alcohol and try to watch during part of the first layer to verify proper “squishing”. Also, what is the print bed material? Most films will need periodic replacement, though PEI should last for weeks or months when kept clean.
Its really hard to tell if its “squishing” it
@Cristian_Martinez You mentioned earlier that you had your nozzle ram down on your heatbed so hard it visibly bent: have you checked that the temperature sensor and everything is still attached and in their correct positions? Maybe it got a little loose or something and your bed is reporting wrong temperature?
Yeah it all looks right idk what happened

It looks a little squishy to me

I think it looks like your first layer is a bit too high. But I dunno, hard to tell from the pictures and I’m still a newbie, too… too high first layer does cause prints not too stick well, though, so maybe lower it a little?
Ok i will try that. I printed one earlier with no issues thou. This all came out of the blue
i was told to try raising the print bed temperature from 55 to 65. Think thatll help?
I’d try lowering first layer a little first. The hotter the bed, the longer it takes for the PLA too cool and can affect quality
Ok ill try that. This is getting me irritated lol
Even the prints that came in the SD card wont print lol
