I just upgraded by K40 with cohesion board and I am really struggling to get rasters or cuts out of it after trying a full day and half on it. The results I get are full black blobs covering the perimeter of the image and sometimes even bigger. I am using inkscape to export svg and png and have latest version of LW4 on a Windows 7 machine.
Pls could someone advice how do I fix it.
Pls see below a few pictures I have taken of the issue I am facing. The one below is picture of the rastered file and one the one on the next post is actual laser rastering on the wood.
This is the SVG file I created from an image. I also created JPG image from it and a PNG to try and rater or raster fill (for SVG) but I get the same result.
@Naveen_Chandra_Dudar have you ever had success after conversion? Please do the following : draw a square with a 2mm border but white inside. It could be 3cm. Setup the operation the same as above and post the image. It’s important that you try 2 times , first leave burn white on and then turn it off and try again
Hi Ariel, I used your grayscale palette and all I got was a rectangle of flat black just like I was getting before with my designs. I used both options you suggested. Would you pls let me know how do I check if PWM is working or not.
Hi + Ray Kholodovsky, I ran the test as suggested on Troubleshooting page and the laser did not fire on any of the steps. Secondly, on the G0 X0 Y15 command, the laser head moved to the Bottom left hand corner of the machine. Thirdly, I Opened the Config file on the card and found the laser_module_pwm_period 20. The instructions speaks of this value to be in '00 (300 or 400) but here I see it to be 20. Shall I try increasing it to 200 and see if it works?
