I am testing a new print surface (test with PLA).
Do you have any idea about what kind of part I can test to print and if it works with this one I could declare “it’s works!”
If it works like my first test…I will never have to use blue tape anymore, no more spray too and print a lot of times on it without to damage it.
Minimal contact large part or large surface part
What are you using?
@Ariel_Yahni_UniKpty a box without top and bottom 150x150 ep1mm something like that?
@Keith_Applegarth I keep secret till to know if it’s really work, for now it’s amazing…
You need bottom. Large surface contact to the bed If it doesn’t curl the corners “it works” or something like a rocket, 3 point minimal contact but large so a lot of movement. If it doesn’t get loose “it works”
No glue, perfectly flat, the first test stick and didn’t damage the bed, i am printing a bigger part now 75x75x34, a nut without raft, the first one was with a raft.
Do the wedge warping test. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:26955
@Ryan_Carlyle Thanks, it will be my next test, I was looking for a rocket but this will be faster to print
F… electrity shoot down
, 80% done of the nut…boo so i will try warp test.
So electric came back, i will try warp test crossing fingers.
39% It still sticking
i shoot videos about my tests, i will try to post it tonight, 53% still stick on the bed
I am printing PLA, 215°c, no heated bed.
@Ryan_Carlyle
I finished the test and at 90% it starts to warp. 1mm warp on the two sides.
@Michel_DA_SILVA warping is no good
It IS a print specifically designed to warp
@Ryan_Carlyle my bad. I see now
So is my solution bad? I will try with other parts, the finish looks like a mirrorrrrrrr
Compare your 90% result to the results with other print surfaces. That will tell you how good your surface is
