I’m so excited about this print!! It will be the longest I’ve run my printer on a single job when it’s finished (about 330 hours, or two solid weeks). I started this before we took a long road trip, and now it’s 19% done and 85 hours in. I’m printing a 10” long Batman Tumbler at 0.05mm layer height with a .02mm nozzle. The details this far look amazingly smooth. I can’t wait to show off the finished project! I’ll paint it black when it’s done (White was the only color I had enough to complete the print in at the time). It should be around 500 grams when finished.

what time do you estimate for removing those supports?

@Ulrich_Baer honestly, no idea. I’m going to take my time though. It has a lot of small, high-detailed components on it that could potentially break off if I rush it. I’m guessing probably an hour or so.

Want to see how this one turns out. Support removal will be a fun project. :slight_smile:

Oh please do post lots of pictures when you’re done and when it’s done printing

330 hours for half a spool :open_mouth:

Looks interesting!

Non stop ,?

@Kevon_Daines yup!

nice

Maybe post a daily update progress pic. :slight_smile:

@Jeff_Parish +Jeff Parish 30% done, and 128 hours in. I removed part of the supports from the front wheel to look at the finish. Still looking good! missing/deleted image from Google+

34% done. 143 hours in. missing/deleted image from Google+

It barely likes like it moved!

@Justin_Nesselrotte I know! High resolution takes a long time. It looks awesome though. I can’t see print lines due to the .05mm layer height.

@Justin_Nesselrotte I’m sure once it gets past all of the thick stuff on the base it’ll start making more drastic progress.

Yep. Hopefully it won’t fail there. What printer type is this?

@Justin_Nesselrotte This is a Reliabuild3D RB2. It’s an older version of what the company now offers, but you can look up the specs at Reliabuild3D.com if you want. I’ve been pining to get another one of their printers so I can run long ones on the side and still do tiny prints. I’ve loved the quality though. http://Reliabuild3D.com

How many m³ fillament did you use on this project ?
