Is it May yet? Is it May yet? (Excited :-) Can't wait.

Is it May yet? Is it May yet? (Excited  Can’t wait.

You are going to get the even better MK2S, congratulations.

BTW, maybe your awesome work could be integrated into Prusa’s Slic3r? They are very active in developing it and just recently released the variable layer height update…

Mine should arrive on the March 15th. I can hardly wait.

April 17th for me. Taking soooo long

Why do you say the MK2S @Petr_Stehlik ? There’s no mention of it on the site that i can see

@Ben_De_La_Haye they did a press release just the other day saying that all printers shipped from now are a new revised version with some parts tweaked for reliability.

Lol dude im waiting for mine too!

I’m a happy owner of MK2 since November last year. Took me a while to build it from the parts but I was careful and precise and the result is well worth it. Now I print like a pro

That’s awesome. $50 of upgrades for free, certainly can’t complain at that. Thanks guys.

Yeah i feel like im gonna spend atleast 8 hours on it. Even with help from my little brother lol

Ikr @Tony_Lauts

good

Why the almost 650 price tag?
I bought my kit for 275 US dollars…Prusa i3…

@Ben_Scott idk man thats how much the kit was on their website

Shipping, then 20% VAT, but still it sounds like you got a great deal. 275 dollars sounds crazy cheap to me.

Might try eBay. Looks like you can get pretty much the same thing for less than half the price, but keep in mind that an eBay seller won’t offer the support that you could get from your current vendor.
I had a small part break on my printer and ended up having to draw it myself and have it printed at my college to get my machine up and running again.

I’m prepared to pay the extra to have an original Prusa i3 MKII. We have one at work and it’s a great piece of kit.

Anyone know how the Prusa handles PET filament?
