I’ve been developing this for the last few months and would like to get some feedback on it. Any takers?

looks awesome! I’d love to try one for my ultimaker 2
Looks really impressive.
How well does it transfer heat from the bed?
The flexibility is especially cool.
Custom sizes?
How big can you go. I would need 16"x16" for my large platform. Really interested because I am sick of cracking glass.
Seems interesting. Does nylon stick to it too? If nylon sticks well I’m sold.
Eric, I can make one that big. Will cost a few bucks though…I’m waiting to see the feedback I get on the first ones that I sell. Then I can start building additional sizes and taking some custom orders. If there is something I need to tweak about them I want to do it before I build 20 different sizes. Thanks for the interest! Send me a note through my site so I remember…
What temperature did you heat the bed to for ABS? Looks like an awesome solution! Have you tried printing taller (smaller footprint) ABS prints on it yet?
I heat the machine platform to about 100C, which yields about 70-75C on the print surface. Have to be careful not to get too hot or the print sticks too well. I haven’t done too many tall parts from ABS. Will give it a try though. Thanks
Looks impressive, the flex to remove is great.
How does it go with other materials? Namely Polycarbonate and as asked Nylon which is becoming very popular to work with.
I haven’t tested nylon or polycarbonate yet, sorry. I was focused on PLA and ABS for starters. Someone tried wood and said it worked well though
Hitting the site now. Impressive!
The wood filaments are PLA with wood filler, so that’s not too surprising. That would also mean laybrick should work just as well.
nice, how flat is the bed after a few peels?
I’ll try it out.
Can you do a 12x12 plate? Ive been playing with alternative bed materials for the last couple months and Im about ready to go back to glass.
I could try it, need 200mm x 200mm.
I’d be interested but would need 200mm x200mm. Would also want to know about expected life and suitability with Nylon, t-glaze etc…
When you have a 200x200 I’ll buy 2
Yeah 200x200 here as well.
Does it require heating to work? I am looking for a solution for PLA that doesn’t require a HBP.
