Hi I just bought a 50w 600x400mm laser machine and when I power it on, it always goes down grid l vertically, always. It’s like it doesn’t recognise the home position.
While using K40 and clicking the home button, it goes down again a bit and then stop.
What’s happening here??? Machine is new, it does the same even if its not connected, HELP!

Sounds like a bad electrical connection somewhere. If you are lucky, it’s a connector inside that jostled loose in shipment and just needs to be re-seated.

If you haven’t already, read the “K40 Intro” and the whole Getting Started with CO2 Lasers topic — even if you have used CO2 lasers before, there’s lots of information there that can save you grief.
