Morpheus Delta - More prints I did over the weekend. I created the vat cover in Fusion360 and printed it in flexible TPU.
I still have a lot to learn printing with resin, so some of the imperfections maybe due to my lack of knowledge. I tried some MakerJuice G+, but got very poor results with the default resin settings.
Nice work, but why would you need to print supports ?
@Rob_Wilson The liquid resin is just as bad as air to support the printed part.
@Rob_Wilson The following would still need supports even though it is an SLA print.
(don’t mind the really bad image)
The dark green is the uncured resin line, the shape below that line is has not been printed yet, I am just showing what it will try to print, the box above the dark green line has been printed and is attached to the build plate. Hopefully this bad diagram clears it up.

That doesn’t look like a delta!
How about this one?

Here is a link to the vat cover, it’s very simple, maybe the logo would spruce it up a bit.

Looking closer at the MakerJuice G+, I realized they also make a fast cure G+, which is the settings I was using, so that explains the poor performance I was seeing, will try again with settings more suited for the regular G+.
@PrintinAddiction I tried MakerJuice G+ and needed 60 second burn in layers and 25 seconds per layer @ 0.10mm layer height and have had great results on the delta…
@PrintinAddiction One more note on the MakerJuice G+ - if you use the ones with dyes (i.e. colors other than white) the dyes start to separate after about an hour of printing so I stop the print, give it a gentle mix and then restart…
@Scott_Willson Ok, I’ll give those settings a shot, thx…
I realized after the failed prints that I was using the “fast cure” settings, but I had the regular g+ formula.
@Scott_Willson Yeah I heard that the pigment doesnt stay mixed.
Hi there just question some resine printer have a default of uniformity of the light and could resukt a failed print object (mostly on the edge of the plate), that’s the case for the wanhao D7. To resolve this issue you need to create a mask and adjust the exposure time.
Is it the same for the Delta Morpheus?
More explaination here : https://www.xayav.com/maskcreator
@Christophe_Reversez The D7 has a single LED which is what causes this issues, the delta has an array of multiple leds across the entire display to prevent this from happening…
Thank you scott for this precision
@Scott_Willson Tried the settings but still no luck with the MakerJuice G+ resin, any other settings I need to change?

@PrintinAddiction From the looks of it, I’d say perhaps your Z-Axis calibration/homing is off. The way I calibrated mine was to put a sheet of paper in the vat (vat empty of course) then home the axis. Check to make sure it’s all the way down my turning the lead-screw by hand. Make the adjustment on the end stop as needed. Home the Z-Axis again and the paper should move around but not easily.
My first few prints I stopped the print job after the 3 burn in layers were completed. Raised the Z-Axis up 100mm to ensure the print was sticking then lowered it down 100mm, then an additional 10mm (as nanodlp will raise the axis 10mm when ending a job) then resumed the print. It took me a few tries but I am confident in it’s performance and setup now…
Hope this all makes sense for ya!
